Mrs. Shannon Wickett
I was born and raised in Calgary. At the age of 18 I attended the University of Lethbridge where I completed my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and met my future husband Brad. After graduating from the U of L I attended the University of Otago in New Zealand where I earned my teaching degree. What a cool experience! Upon returning to Canada Brad and I quickly moved to this amazing town and I began my teaching career with the Livingstone Range School division in Fort MacLeod. The following year I taught in Stavely and we had our first baby, a girl Addison. I went back to Stavely after my year off until we had our second child Hudson, 3 years later. After his arrival I stayed home, taught preschool and watched my amazing kids grow! I came back to teaching in 2017 and was fortunate to teach both at JT Foster and AB Daley. In 2018 I moved to AB Daley full time where I taught grade 3/4 until last year. I am excited to be back at JT and teaching what I am most passionate about, MATH!I am an active outdoorsy type! I love to golf, bike, hike, swim, ski, and camp! Our children have recently developed a love for golf so we love to have our family foursome!
