Ms. Amanda Yost

Hi there! I’m Amanda Yost, aka “Ms. Toast”, and I am very excited about joining the JTF team as a full time teacher. I have enjoyed getting to know the Nanton community over the last couple of years as a substitute teacher, and I look forward to spending more time with all JTF members!

A bit to know about me is that I grew up in Calgary before heading to the U of L where I received my Bachelor of Science and my Bachelor of Education. While living in Lethbridge, my significant other and I grew to appreciate the smaller city, so we moved to High River to be closer to family again. 

Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my dog, partner, family and friends, as well as baking sour dough bread, reading/listening to scary stories, painting/crafting, and camping.

It’s going to be a great year!!
